Evidentiary scope
The catalogue gives a collector, a number, a date and a locality. It is a single gathering and shows neither a continuing population nor a living germplasm holding, so it supports neither a landrace nor a feral classification. The accession is classified Other. No conservation priority is assigned.
The Botanical Database of Southern Africa publishes no image of this sheet. Its image count is zero, and so is the image count of all 1,361,966 rows in the database: the store is empty, and SANBI's own site still lists plant images among its plans. The accession carries no image until the herbarium supplies a scan.
Georeferencing
BODATSA records the coordinate's accuracy as 50m, which marks a field reading. The square code 2531AA is carried alongside it in the database.
Editorial treatment
The Skukuza Herbarium is the one South African herbarium in this batch whose catalogue fills in a vernacular name. It gives Dagga. on all four of its Cannabis entries. BODATSA's own vernacular column is empty on every one of its 1,361,966 entries, so the absence of a Zulu or Afrikaans name at Pretoria is a missing field and not a statement about the sheet.
Source discrepancies
Three catalogue entries exist for one gathering: one at Pretoria and two at Skukuza. The two Skukuza entries give slightly different coordinates and different determiners, which suggests two sheets rather than a duplicated entry, but neither carries a catalogue number and this cannot be settled from the catalogues.
