Evidentiary scope

The record fixes a cannabis plant at a named hill station on a known day. It gives no elevation, no habitat and no statement of use, and it does not establish whether the plant was cultivated, spontaneous or an escape. It records no local variety name, no preparation and no use, and it establishes neither a continuing population nor a living germplasm holding, so it supports neither a landrace nor a feral classification. No conservation priority is assigned.

Georeferencing

Mashobra adjoins Shimla and is mapped at 31.13079, 77.22716, which the infobox uses as a locality georeference rather than as a reconstructed collection point. A second and much smaller Mashobra lies in the same district at Kotkhai; the label's Mashobra, Simla points to the first.
