Evidentiary scope
The catalogue gives a collector, a number, a date and a locality. It is a single gathering and shows neither a continuing population nor a living germplasm holding, so it supports neither a landrace nor a feral classification. The accession is classified Other. No conservation priority is assigned.
The Botanical Database of Southern Africa publishes no image of this sheet. Its image count is zero, and so is the image count of all 1,361,966 rows in the database: the store is empty, and SANBI's own site still lists plant images among its plans. The accession carries no image until the herbarium supplies a scan.
Georeferencing
BODATSA publishes no coordinate for this sheet. None is asserted.
Editorial treatment
This entry is in SANBI's own POSA front end but not in the BODATSA feed that reaches GBIF, so a GBIF sweep misses it. Ten of the Compton Herbarium's fifteen Cannabis entries are in that position, against five that the feed carries. Every one was checked against GBIF by catalogue number and returned no match.
BODATSA publishes no per-specimen page, so the accession cites the database and the barcode identifies the sheet.

The catalogue places the gathering in Gauteng, but Potchefstroom is in North West province; the district was in the Transvaal when the sheet was made, and the province fields of these older entries follow the modern boundaries imperfectly.
