Evidentiary scope

The label, on Vienna's image of the sheet (WU 0156942), is a printed form of the Tribhuvan University herbarium, filled in by hand: On the way to Koilabas, Dang, altitude 270, date 27 May 2003, number 2834, and under remarks only Shrub. The local name line is blank. The label records no habitat, no cultivation, no use and no local name, so nothing shows whether the plant was cultivated, grew wild or had escaped. The accession is classified Unknown. No conservation priority is assigned.

Georeferencing

The point 27.78461, 82.55725 is the one the herbarium publishes for the sheet, with an uncertainty of 3 km (GBIF occurrence 5004372142). It lies about 10 km from each of the village of Koilabas (OpenStreetMap node 2141371088) and the town of Lamahi (node 2467557252), between them, and SRTM gives 297 metres there against the label's 270, so it agrees with the label's On the way to Koilabas. It is the holder's estimate of a place on the way, not a reading from the label, and the page carries it at the holder's precision. Basis: holder's georeference. Uncertainty: about 3 km.
