Evidentiary scope
The article rests on the RSC listing for Isan Thai, the Kwik Seeds listing of the same line and RSC's blog post "Isan Thai – Bong Ja Bong!" (November 2025). Kwik Seeds is the shop RSC calls its other site (RSC, Hemp & Multipurpose). The listings place the source among villagers in rural Ubon Ratchathani Province and date the sourcing to 2023; the April 2023 date comes from archived versions of the RSC listing. They name no village. The history of cannabis in Isan, the domestication hypothesis and the genome-tree result are RSC's; they have not been checked against other sources, and the article attributes them. The listings name rural Ubon Ratchathani province (spelt "Ubon Ratchatani") and give a latitude of 15° N. The coordinate is the label point of Ubon Ratchathani Province in OpenStreetMap (relation 1908830, label node 4352815871), rounded to two decimal places: 15.19, 105.33. Conservation priority
High. RSC's post of 30 August 2023 says the Thai, Lao and Burmese ganja landraces in its Southeast Asia collection are "critically endangered or close to extinct", through hybridisation with introduced seed. The listing separately describes small stands of ganja as a feature of many village gardens in rural Ubon. The Burmese accession, which the same sentence covers, is rated Low. - Growing period. RSC: "Approx. 6 months from seed to harvest". Kwik Seeds: "Six months from seed to harvest", RSC's wording until January 2025.

The Wayback Machine holds eight versions of the RSC listing, from April 2024 to May 2026, and all were read. All give the 2023 sourcing.
- From April 2024 to January 2025 the sourcing line read "The Real Seed Company, Isan, Southeast Asia, April 2023", and the listing carried "Classification: Cannabis sativa subsp. indica var. indica". The article cites the versions of 17 April 2024 and 25 January 2025.
- The height was "2 to 4 metres" until February 2026 and has been "c. 2 metres" since May 2026. The article cites the version of 9 February 2026 for the earlier figure.

The infobox image is the listing's only photograph. RSC's November 2025 blog post uses the same file and says it shows RSC's Isan Thai accession "grown with skill outdoors in Hawaii", so the caption gives that place with the post's date.
