Evidentiary scope

The labels on both sheets give the locality as Doi Chiang Dao National Park, Chiang Dao district, Chiang Mai Province, the collector as W. Nanakorn et al. 8642 and the date 19 February 1999. The first sheet leaves the local name, altitude and note blank. The labels record no habitat, cultivation status, local name or use, so nothing shows whether the plant was cultivated, was growing wild or had escaped. The accession is classified Unknown. It does not establish a continuing population or a living germplasm holding, and no conservation priority is assigned.

Georeferencing

The labels name Doi Chiang Dao National Park, in Chiang Dao District, and no collection point within it. The district is georeferenced rather than declined: the infobox holds 19.54, 98.95, the point OpenStreetMap gives for the administrative area of Chiang Dao District. It is an area point for the district, not a collection point, and it places the gathering only to within about 40 km. This supersedes the refusal recorded here earlier, which declined a point.

Editorial treatment

The two sheets are one gathering. They share the number, the collector and the locality. They are marked as sheets 1 and 2 of the gathering.

The date 19/2/1999 is read as day, month and year, as the catalogue reads it. On SN 262601 it is written on the line for the determination; it is read as the collection date because it matches SN 262600's date line.

The collector field follows the printed label, W. Nanakorn; the catalogue gives Nanakhon, W.
