The two catalogue entries give a country, a month, a number and a determination, and nothing else: no locality, no use, no local name. It is kept because it belongs to a numbered series whose other sheets carry full labels, and because the two sheets can be read by anyone who visits them.

Editorial treatment

The collector field holds the label's own form. The 1860 label reads Collect.: MARTIN Marie A. and the 1864 label Collect.: Marie Martin. The ethnobotanist Marie Alexandrine Martin worked in Laos and Cambodia in these years, but no source read for this page identifies her as this collector, and none is asserted here. Check it before a person page is linked.

The label dates the gathering to the month, 5/73, and the catalogue to May 1973. The collection date field holds the month, not a day.

Harvard records the collector as [data not captured] on both sheets. The collector field is filled from the series: the numbers on either side of 1861 are Martin's, and Harvard's own sheets of 1860, 1863, 1864 and 1866 carry the same uncaptured collector with the same dates and the same accession run.
