Evidentiary scope
The label on both sheets places the plant in the Ubagan raion of the Kustanai Oblast, at the Shcherbakov state farm, in July 1956: На сорном месте близ молочно-товарной фермы. (on a weedy place near the dairy farm). The address names the state farm, but the habitat is a weedy place by its dairy, not a farm crop. It gives no use and no note on cultivation. The name Cannabis ruderalis on the label is a determination from the specimen, not a record of where the plant grew. The plant grew outside cultivation. The accession is classified Feral, by inference from the label; the label does not say whether the plants descended from a crop. A single gathering does not establish a continuing population, and no conservation priority is assigned. An earlier version of this note classified the sheet as Other because a single gathering does not establish a landrace or a continuing population.
Label reading
Read twice, independently, from the holder's image (3632 × 5265 pixels). The second sheet is MW0818739 (3648 × 5265 pixels); its label is a second writing of the same text in the same hand. The page states only what the readings agree, except where noted.
- Label (black ink). Cannabis ruderalis Janisch. / Кустанайская обл., Убаганский / район, совхоз им. Щербакова. / На сорном месте близ молочно- / -товарной фермы. / 27/VII-1956 г. / Собр. Д. Лещина / Опр. and a signature in blue ink.
- Pencil (another hand, above the name). Коноплевые.
- Readings that differ. On MW0818738 the second reading allowed Узаганский for Убаганский; on MW0818739 it reads Убаганский, as the first reading did on both and as the catalogue gives. The signature after Опр. was read НКаден (uncertain) and was not read at all; the catalogue names N. Kaden, the determiner printed in full on another sheet of the same herbarium from the same oblast (Kartasheva s.n., Aksuat (1957)), and the page takes the catalogue's name.
- A pencilled 1973 in the lower right corner, in the hand seen on nearly every sheet of this series in the herbarium, says nothing about its purpose and is not used.
Georeferencing
No point is given. The label names a state farm (совхоз им. Щербакова) and its raion, not a settlement. The Russian Wikipedia gives the Ubagan raion as the name of today's Altynsarin District of the Kostanay Region from 1935 into the 1990s, abolished on 2 January 1963 and merged into a new Kustanai rural raion; the district is about 114 by 76 km (OpenStreetMap relation 2068177). The only settlement of the name in the region in OpenStreetMap is the village of Shcherbakovo (node 1630461441, 53.17, 64.21), in Altynsarin District; no source read ties it to the state farm of 1956, so it is not used as the point. The province field takes Kostanay Region. Basis: none (district only). Uncertainty: the district, about 60 km.

Two sheets, one accession. The sheets carry the same label in the same hand, with the same collector, day and place. MW0818738 is the infobox image; both are shown under Sheets.
Collector. The collector field takes the catalogue's D. Leschina, the label's Д. Лещина; the prose gives the label's name in the same form. No source read for this page gives a full name, and the collector is not linked.
Taxon. The infobox takes the label's Cannabis ruderalis Janisch.; the catalogue's Cannabis sativa L. is reported in the article.
