Evidentiary scope
The label reads Песчаная пустыня Муюн-Кум, 60 км восточнее г. Джамбула. Слегка закреплённые пески. (sandy desert Muyun-Kum, 60 km east of the town of Dzhambul; slightly fixed sands), with the date June 1958. It gives no use and no note on cultivation. The printed heading is that of the Przhevalsk experimental station of VILAR, whose form the collector used; the handwritten habitat line, not the form, says where the plant grew. The name Cannabis ruderalis on the label is the botanist's determination from the specimen, not a record of where the plant grew. The plant grew on desert sand, outside cultivation. The accession is classified Feral, by inference from the label; the label does not say whether the plants descended from a crop. A single gathering does not establish a continuing population, and no conservation priority is assigned. An earlier version of this note classified the sheet as Other because a single gathering does not establish a landrace or a continuing population.

- Readings that differ. The desert's name was read Мююн-Кум (uncertain) and Муюн-Кум; the page writes it Муюн-Кум and in English takes today's form, Moyynkum.
- A pencilled 1973 in the lower right corner, in the hand seen on nearly every sheet of this series in the herbarium, says nothing about its purpose and is not used.
Georeferencing
No point is given. The label places the gathering on sands of the Moyynkum desert 60 km east of Dzhambul, today's Taraz (OpenStreetMap relation 3388835), and names no settlement. A point 60 km due east of Taraz falls 13 km outside the desert's mapped outline (way 611854275), at 881 m in foothills, so the distance does not fix a spot in the sands; the nearest sands at about that distance lie near Akyrtobe, but the label does not name it. Both lie in Turar Ryskulov District of the Jambyl Region, which the province field takes. Basis: none (direction and distance only). Uncertainty: about 15 km.
Editorial treatment
Collector. The collector and determiner fields take the catalogue's I. A. Gubanov, the label's Губанов И. А. No source read for this page gives his full name, and he is not linked. An I. Gubanov also collected and determined Gubanov s.n., Karakol (1956) on a form of the same station; the page does not say that it is the same man.
Taxon. The infobox takes Gubanov's Cannabis ruderalis Janisch. (the label spells the author Janischewsky); Small's 1975 determination is reported in the article.
Source discrepancies
- The catalogue gives E. Small and August 1975 as the determination, under the name Cannabis sativa L.; the slip itself gives Cannabis sativa L. subsp. sativa.
