Evidentiary scope
The label places cannabis in a dry stream bed on a mountain slope south of Delgerkhaan in July 1991. It gives no use and no note on cultivation. The determination as Cannabis ruderalis is the botanist's judgement from the specimen and is reported as such. A single gathering does not establish a landrace or a continuing population. The accession is classified Other and no conservation priority is assigned.

Georeferencing
The point 47.18, 109.19 is the settlement of Delgerkhaan in Khentii Province, OpenStreetMap node 297292236. The label puts the gathering 20 km south of it, on the northern slope of Kherlen-Tongo, a mountain OpenStreetMap does not map. A hamlet named Kherlentoono (Хэрлэнтооно баг, way 1453281317) lies 9 km south-south-west of the settlement, in Delgerkhaan sum, which places the mountain's name in this sum. The point is the settlement, not the slope, and the uncertainty covers the label's 20 km. SRTM gives 1,156 to 1,260 m along the line 10 to 35 km due south of the settlement, below the label's 1,350 to 1,450 m, so the slope rises off that line and its direction from the settlement is not fixed. Basis: settlement point. Uncertainty: about 25 km.
Editorial treatment
Elevation. The elevation field takes 1,400 m, the midpoint of the label's 1,350 to 1,450 m; the article quotes the range.
Province. The label names Khentii aimag in so many words. Mongolia has a second sum called Delgerkhaan, in Töv Province; the label's is the Khentii one.
Collectors. The collector field takes the first name, I. A. Gubanov. The label names no determiner.
Source discrepancies
- The database files the sheet as Cannabis sativa L.; the label's determination is Cannabis ruderalis Janisch.
- The database gives no collector number or locality; the label gives № 43 and Kherlen-Tongo, south of Delgerkhaan.
- The herbarium's database publishes the point 46.438448, 104.577484 for this sheet. It lies in the Delgerkhaan sum of Töv Province, about 360 km west of the Khentii settlement the label names, so it does not fit the label and is not used.
