How the border is drawn
- The border follows the catchment of the Goriganga from just above the point where the stream from Munsyari town joins the river, about 3.5 km north-east of the town, down to its confluence with the Kali at Jauljibi (SRTM elevation, OpenStreetMap rivers). Johar Valley's border ends at the same point. It leaves out ground above 4,000 m (SRTM elevation), as the Johar Valley border does. Strips narrower than 3 km between it and a neighbouring border are drawn into it.
- The border is drawn on the river basin, not round the accessions. All nine accession points lie inside it.
- Where this border meets the Western Himalayas border or the border of a neighbouring growing area, the two share one line, drawn once.
Accession places and names
- Places. The localities match OpenStreetMap places within about 2 km of each recorded point: Sera is Seraghat (node 342104427), Madkote is Mathkot (node 342104358), and Bata (node 7832937072) and Bona (node 2375578017) keep their names. The Munsyari and Harkot accessions are placed on the OpenStreetMap points for Munsyari town (node 245769315) and Harkot (node 7832951673); their Talk pages give the reason.
- Blocks. The two Bata accessions give different blocks: ZOM-IND-UTT-0920250025 gives Dharchula Block and ZOM-IND-UTT-0920250026 gives Munsyari Block. The article reports both as stored.
- Munsyari Mixed Bag. ZOM-IND-UTT-1020250002 gives no collector, collection date or harvest year; the article counts it among the UTT01 accessions only.
- Harvest year. ZOM-IND-UTT-0920250024 is named Sera General Population 2024 but gives 2025 as its harvest. The article reports the harvest as stored. Éloise 01:54, 22 October 2026 (+07)
