Title

  • The page is at the bare name, and Corinto (cannabis) redirects here. The municipality and its growing are on Corinto (appellation).
  • Corintiana and corinteña are the forms in the Spanish sources; "Corinthian" is an English rendering in forum posts.

What the name refers to

  • The sources differ. The police count corinto as one of four native varieties; the smokers Serrano asked in 2016 called it a name for marijuana from the region, not necessarily a distinct variety.
  • "Corinto Gold" rests on one interviewee in Toribío (2018) and is given as that person's words.
  • "Coro" as a local name, and "Corinto Purple" and "Corinto Monster" as collectors' names, come only from the seller that sells the line, and are given as its claims.
  • A clone line sold in the United States as "Purple Corinto" is a separate product with no documented link to Cauca, and is not on the page.
