Evidentiary scope

The three inspected sheets have matching Calcutta herbarium labels naming Cannabis sativa, Dhuhi, February 1902 and A. C. Chatterjee, and are treated as duplicates from one unnumbered gathering. The labels supply no habitat, cultivation status, local name or use. The accession is therefore classified as Other. The record does not establish a continuing population, a feral population, a landrace, or a living germplasm holding. No conservation priority is assigned.

Georeferencing

The three inspected labels appear to read Dhuhi. The Zurich catalogue transcribes the locality as Dhubi, the RSA and Bell Museum records use Dhuhi, and the Meise record indexes the duplicate as Tezpur. No verified modern place match was found, so the label form Dhuhi is retained and no district or coordinate is asserted.

Editorial treatment

The Bell Museum record places Dhalhi in its habitat field even though the sheet's Hab. line contains the locality name and no ecological observation. That value is treated as a transcription artefact and is not reported as habitat. The Meise record's March date conflicts with the February date visible on the three inspected duplicate labels; the accession therefore uses February 1902. The Zurich sheet is used as the lead image because its occurrence record is released under CC BY 4.0.
