Evidentiary scope

- Accession ID. `COC-IND-KER-0100000001`: `COC` (Coco Genes); `IND` (India); `KER` (Kerala — established province code, reused, not new); `01` (month not stated, default); `0000` (no season category and no genuinely stated collection year — see below); `0001` (first Kerala/0000 lot drafted in this lane; coordinate the serial with any other lane minting `COC-IND-KER-0000-*`, see Source discrepancies).
- The name's own "2020." The listing's only date content is "the new 2020 drop of Kerala" — a restocking/release announcement, not a stated collection date, and not a formal Season-category tag either (contrast `COC-IND-AND-0120200001`, whose Season category is a distinct site field). Treated as neither: the ID year is `0000` and `collection_date` is empty. The "2020" is kept in the descriptive name only because it is the line's own name as the source gives it, not as an assertion about when it was collected.
- Province. `province = Kerala`, bare, per the standing convention that Indian states stay bare in this field. No locality, admin_2 or coordinates: none is named.

Source discrepancies
- Possible duplicate line — not merged. This line and Kerala Chellakutti may or may not be the same underlying material: both are Coco Genes lines out of Kerala with no stated collection year, and neither source cross-references the other by name. Per today's ruling these are drafted as separate accessions; merging is Éloïse's call.
- A third possible relative, outside this lane. An Overgrow post (vinu58ster, 30 April 2024, topic "PTK trade" — https://overgrow.com/t/144050/621, accessed 18 September 2026) lists cultivars obtained "personally by cocogenes," naming "Kerala Selection 2020," "Malana Selection 2020" and "Shillong Selection" in the same breath. A "Kerala Selection 2020" named alongside a Himachal-cluster Malana selection is being drafted by the `coc_himachal` lane; whether that row, this "Kerala 2020" listing, and "Kerala Chellakutti" name one, two or three distinct lines is not resolved here.
