Evidentiary scope
The label's observations read Plante cultivée. Les feuilles seulement ont été collectées. (a cultivated plant, of which only the leaves were collected), and its name line gives a local name that begins kanscha, with Chanvre (hemp). The plant was gathered at Mae Hat in the Mae Sa watershed, at 600 metres, in July 1977. The local name is only partly legible, and the label records no use. Seed of drug-type cannabis from elsewhere reached Thailand in the 1970s (McPartland and Small 2020, pp. 84–85), so the date of this sheet does not exclude introduced seed. The class rests on the label: cultivation at Mae Hat, under a local name. The accession is classified Landrace, by inference from the label. The sheet does not show what became of the crop or whether its seed survives, and no conservation priority is assigned.
Georeferencing
The label gives its own coordinates, 98°53′ E and 18°53′ N, to the minute. The infobox stores them at 18.88, 98.88; a minute of arc is about 1.8 km here. The point stands at 716 m on SRTM against the label's 600 m; the label's coordinates are given only to the minute. It reverse-geocodes to Mae Rim District, which the district field follows.
Editorial treatment
The collector field uses J.-P. Boulanger, the catalogue's form of the label's J-P Boulanger.
The local name is not stored in the infobox because its last letter cannot be read with confidence. Chanvre is French for hemp and is not a local name.
var. indica is quoted as the label writes it and is not used in the scientific name field. The DNA slip is reported as it reads; the study it names has not been traced.
