This page documents how to use {{Peacock_term}}.
When to use
Use {{Peacock_term}} when wording is promotional, subjective, or comparative (for example: “unparalleled”, “unique”, “world-class”, “leading”, “renowned”) and the claim isn’t clearly attributed to a reliable source.
When not to use
Don’t tag plain, measurable statements. If the sentence already attributes the evaluation to a named author/source (and it’s cited), you usually don’t need this tag.
How to use
Add it immediately after the promotional wording:
It is an unparalleled multilingual record of indigenous botanical knowledge from this period.{{Peacock_term|reason=“Unparalleled” is a superlative; either attribute to a source or rephrase.}}
If you can, prefer rewriting to neutral language or attributing the evaluation with an inline <ref>...</ref> instead of tagging.
