Excavated or surveyed sites where cannabis remains, residue, fibre or impressions have been identified in a published paper: cemeteries, burial mounds, settlements, caves and shrines. Each page describes one site and carries {{Infobox Archaeological site}}, which records what was found, how it was dated and identified, and where the finds are held. Sites whose identification is disputed are included, and their articles say who disputes it.
Cannabis pollen in lake and bog cores is not described here: a core is not a site.
