Property:Has discipline

This property records the discipline a Research Item primarily belongs to. One value per record: the discipline the paper's central contribution sits in, not every field it touches.

It is typed Text rather than Page, following Property:Has event category. A Page type would link each value, and an unwritten target then becomes a redlink on every record carrying it, which is how bare publication years came to be the wiki's most-wanted pages.

The allowed values are the eight knowledge portals plus one:

Botany
Genetics
Chemistry
Geography
History
Culture
Cultivation
Conservation
Policy and law

Policy and law has no matching portal. It is here because roughly a fifth of the indexed literature is legal, regulatory or political-economic work whose contribution is not historical, cultural or geographic, and filing it under those three would misdescribe it and dilute them.
