Krabangkham Farm 'Suriyan’s' Selection 2024 is a selected domesticate landrace cannabis accession documented by Isabella in February 2025 in Thailand. Seeds were sourced from Khun Suriyan in Ban Nan Toeng, within the Phu Phan Mountains of Sakhon Nakhon Province. The accession represents a farmer-driven selection from the broader Lao‑Isan landrace population cultivated using traditional open-pollination.
Geography
This accession originates from the Phu Phan Mountains in Sakhon Nakhon Province, located in the Isan region of northeastern Thailand. Ban Nan Toeng lies in a remote upland valley near the edge of the Kut Bak plateau. Plants are cultivated at 200 meters elevation under seasonal monsoon conditions.
Collection Details
Seeds were collected in February 26, 2025 from plants selected by Khun Suriyan during harvest processing. The accession represents a farm-level selection from the general domesticate population maintained at Krabangkham Farm.
Seeds are produced on-farm through direct seeding and traditional open-pollination.
Botanical Characteristics
Plants exhibit classic narrow-leafed Southeast Asian morphology, reaching 2–3 meters in height with extended internodal spacing and upright growth. Flowering occurs under short-day conditions.
The broader farm population expresses both Tiger Tail and Squirrel Tail phenotypes. This particular selection reflects Suriyan’s preferred expression within the landrace population. Flower Structure is Dense.
The terpene spectrum includes earthy spice, herbal musk, woody undertones, and sweet tropical fruit notes including mango. Effects are described as clear-headed, energizing, and suitable for both recreational and medicinal use.
