Massive cannabis plantations raided inside Yala Reserve

Gonaganara Police conducted a four-day operation inside the Yala Reserve area, uncovering three separate cannabis plantations totalling approximately 200,000 plants across 10 acres. The first site covered five acres with approximately 100,000 plants; the second spanned three acres with approximately 60,000 plants; the third covered two acres with approximately 40,000 plants. Officers also seized 50.6 kg of dried cannabis ready for distribution. No suspects were arrested; investigations are ongoing.
