Army assists police in major cannabis eradication operation in Thanamalwila

Sri Lanka Army Intelligence, Thanamalwila Police, and local Army personnel raided cannabis plantations across three locations in the Unakanda, Hambegamuwa area. A total of 63,992 plants were destroyed across 2.25 acres: 58,320 plants on 1.5 acres, 3,722 plants on 0.5 acres, and 1,950 plants on 0.25 acres. All cultivations were burned on-site.
