Unverified

This template flags claims that lack independent verification or supporting evidence. It does not imply the claim is false — only that it has not been confirmed by the wiki's editorial standards.

This is distinct from {{disputed}}, which flags claims where evidence actively contradicts the stated information.

Usage

With optional reason:

Removal

Any autoconfirmed editor may remove the {{unverified}} tag after providing a verifiable source in the article's references. Add a note to the Talk page explaining what evidence was provided.
