Conservation status panel updates

The conservation status panel on the main page shows current documentation progress. As new strain profiles are added, these numbers update automatically. Discussion about improving this feature or adding additional metrics should go here.

Featured content coordination

We should establish a rotation system for the featured content section to highlight:

Seasonal relevance (harvest season varieties, regional growing cycles)
Recent expeditions and field research
Conservation priorities and endangered varieties
Regional focus areas

Navigation and user experience
